Hi,
I waited,held my breathe in anticipation of the release of my dear D'banj's latest album. I could have bet my entire stock port-folio on it being a mega hit.
When d album was eventually released, I rushed to Numetro, got a copy and ... boy was I disappointed.
To begin with, the CD jacket could have been better. And wuz up with the mix up on title tracks on the CD jacket? Except for a few tracks (which are already overplayed on the radio!), the album lacks content. They basically sounded the same.And some came across as the rantings of an immature person.
I love D'banj and MoHit Stars but honestly I think the Entertainer album was over-hyped and the hard work part of ensuring that it surpasses the Naija norm was ignored.
I could go on and on but D'banj is a sweetheart with a wonderful personality, so I don't want to hurt him.
I think he should get a professional to critique the album so dat next time, poor folks like moi who are die-hard fans won't have our eardrums assaulted and won't be insulted with a wishy- washy album.
